How to play

Learn how to play Teen Patti, available for you to enjoy virtually anywhere on desktop, tablet or smartphone.

Place your initial ante bet

The online Teen Patti rules are just as simple as the rules for playing the traditional Teen Patti game.

You must first place the Ante bet to take part in the game round.

The main aim in Teen Patti is for you to achieve a better three-card Poker hand than the dealer’s three-card hand.

The Teen Patti side bets

You may also place a bet on one or both of the optional side bets – the Pair Plus bet and the 6 Card Bonus bet.

These side bets give you the chance of bigger payouts of up to 1000:1. The side bets are evaluated separately at the end of each game round, and each bet provides an entirely separate chance to win from the main bet.

• Pair Plus side bet – you must make a pair or better out of your three dealt cards.
• 6 Card Bonus bet – you must make a winning five-card Poker hand using your three cards and the dealer’s three cards. This bet pays on Three of a Kind or better, as shown in the 6 Card Bonus bet payout table, which is accessible within the live game.

The side bets are separate to the Ante and Play bets in the main game; they pay entirely based on the value of the player’s hand.

The dealing of the cards

After betting time is over you are dealt three cards (face up) and the dealer is dealt three cards (face down).

Place the Play bet or decide to Fold

After examining your three cards, you must make a Play bet (equal to your Ante bet) or you must Fold (i.e. decide not to continue and therefore forfeit your Ante bet).

In the main game, the highest-ranking hand wins and the dealer must have a ‘Queen High’ or better to qualify.

Game outcomes (main game)

• If the dealer has less than ‘Queen High’, the Play bet pushes and the Ante bet is paid 1:1
• If the dealer qualifies to play, your hand is compared with the dealer’s hand and the higher-ranking Poker hand wins
• If you have the higher-ranking Poker hand, the Ante and Play bets both pay 1:1
• If the dealer has the higher-ranking Poker hand, you lose both your Ante and Play bets
• If you and dealer tie (i.e. player and dealer have equal-ranking Poker hands), the Ante and Play bets are a push
• If you get a Straight or better, you receive an Ante Bonus, regardless of the value of the dealer’s hand. Please note that you have to place a Play bet to receive the Ante Bonus.
