The aim of Lighting Ball is to match as many numbers as possible on a single ticket. You can buy up to 200 tickets per round. Each ticket contains five standard numbers between 1 and 30 and a Powerball number between 1 and 10. To win, you must match at least two numbers on the card.
Lightning Ball is played with two ball-drawing machines. The main drum contains 30 balls (from 1 to 30), and the second Powerball drum contains 10 balls (from 1 to 10).
After the betting time is over, the main ball-drawing machine draws five numbered balls from a pool of 30. Any drawn number that matches the number on the ticket will be marked with a red daub.
When five balls are drawn from the first ball-drawing machine, the game host pulls a lever to generate a random Lightning multiplier from 2x to 50x.
After that, the game switches to the Powerball machine, which draws one ball from a pool of 10. If the Powerball matches the power number on a ticket with at least one other regular number match, the Lightning multiplier is applied to that ticket, boosting your winnings.
You win by matching two or more numbers on a ticket, and the payout is based on the amount of numbers matched. If the ticket had a Lightning multiplier, the payout is multiplied by the Lightning multiplier value (up to 50x).
